Rogers Gardens, located in Corona Del Mar, California, is THE Christmas tree shop to visit.  Of all the amazing Christmas tree shops in the United States, Rodgers is at number one.  Why?  Because they have unparalleled artists, decorators and quality in absolutely everything they do.

To  start, look at these gorgeous poinsettias!  Rogers is known for carrying unique and hard-to-find poinsettia varieties.

And these wreaths!  Each one is made from fresh greens from the traditional (holly) to the tropical and several in between!

As you stroll through the gallery, everything looks, smells and sounds like Christmas.  My favorite Christmas tree fragrance is by Thymes called Frasier Fir. It smells like your at a Christmas tree farm, or maybe several Christmas tree farms! It’s subtle and wonderful without being over powering.  And of, course, there are plenty of Christmas songs.  The Christmas music is lovely, and subtle; just enough to enhance the mood without being repetitive or intrusive.  Most of all is the feast for the eyes! In the gallery, where a dozen or more Christmas trees are on display, each with a unique theme of it’s own.  Each tree is positively dripping with ornaments!  Make sure you look up, too.  Every tree has an individualized and creative topper and in many places the ceiling is ornamented with extraordinary items. These paper lanterns were among my favorites this year.

This magnificent Christmas wonderland has plenty to offer, but it’s all done with impeccable standards of beauty and style. It is impossible to overstate how beautiful and inspiring the holiday displays are at Rogers Gardens, which is why it is a destination spot for holiday visitors from all over the world.

Rodgers carries everything from lights, to artificial trees, to real trees, to decor of multiple kinds including specialized work hand crafted by artists.  They have the single largest variety of Christopher Radko glass ornaments in the country, as well as custom jewelry trees and several other artist collections.

The outside nursery area is transformed as well.  This spot under mature pines morphs from a lovely perennial be with fountains to a bouble decker train track complete with two independent train systems, bridges, and tunnels.  Kids of all ages love the annual train display.

If this sounds a bit like an advertisement, I have to apologize.  I have no affiliation with Rogers Gardens.  However, when I was a little girl, my dad used to take me there the day after Christmas for their 50% off sale.  We would scour the the ornaments for that special one and take it home.  Christmas at Rogers always reminds me of my dad.  So, maybe I have a bit of a biased view, but given the number of folks who visit every year, I’d say it’s justified:0).  If you ever find yourself in Southern California during the holidays, make a point of visiting Rogers Gardens. It’s one of the most magnificent Christmas tree shops around and, you never know, you just may find that special treasure to take home.
